According to the recommendations of the Swiss Society of Gastroenterology, written consent is required for gastroscopies, colonoscopies and anoscopies.
Please complete the consent form in advance online (online consent forms). Alternatively, you can print out the PDF, sign it and bring it with you to your appointment.

For an optimal assessment, the bowel must be clean and completely empty.
We recommend bowel preparation with the laxative Plenvu. Please read the instructions carefully and follow the recommendations.

Bowel preparation for colonoscopy

The cantonal colorectal cancer screening program offers residents of the cantons of Basel-Stadt and Basel-Landschaft the opportunity to undergo a preventive colonoscopy with a limited out-of-pocket cost (CHF 70-150, regardless of their deductible). Eligibility requires that you are not currently experiencing any bowel symptoms which require investigation and that you have not had a colonoscopy within the last 10 years.
Our practice participates in the cantonal colorectal cancer screening program. A doctor's referral is not required.
